The short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your results stay on your own device.
What's saved on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves a few things in your browser's local storage:
- Today's game, so you can pick up where you left off
- Your stats and streaks
- Your settings, like Hard mode
- Whether you've already seen the How to play guide
This stays in your browser and is never sent to us. It isn't a cookie, and the site doesn't use cookies. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases it.
What we collect
Nothing, through the game. There are no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts. The game's code, fonts and images all come from this site.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record technical details such as your IP address to run and secure its service. See GitHub's privacy statement.
Sharing your result
The share button copies your result to your clipboard, and only when you tap it. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you paste it yourself.
Emailing us
If you write to support@thedailymaze.com, your message is forwarded by our domain provider to our inbox. We use your email address and message only to reply to you. We never sell or share them.
Children
The game doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if we start counting visits, we'll update this page first.
